Our refillable candles are designed to provide a unique and eco-friendly experience. Unlike traditional candles, our candles are refillable, meaning you can replace the center once it has burned all the way down with any aroma you wish. Just peel out the remaining material in the heat resistant center cup and add a fresh refill. Gently wipe the inner cup with rub alcohol on a paper towel to remove any remaining material, once the cup is clean, peel off the paper on one of our flex votive refills and insert into the center cup, trim the wick and you are all set to burn your candle again and again and again! (I usually tip my candle upside down over a garbage can while cleaning the inner cup).
One outstanding feature of our candles is that they burn soot-free and toxin-free. This is because they are made from a blend of 94% white mineral oil (also known as baby oil) and 6% solidifier. This composition allows our candles to burn cleaner than traditional wax or soy candles. They produce minimal to no soot, reducing the risk of indoor air pollution and eliminating the need for constant cleaning.
In terms of burn time, our refills offer 25 to 30 hours of burn time each. For the individual candle sizes, small candles burn for 50 to 60 hours, medium candles burn for 80 to 100 hours, and large candles burn for 100+ hours initially before needing a refill. These extended burn times are due to the unique blend of mineral oil and solidifier that we use, enabling our candles to burn four to eight times longer than wax or soy candles.
